Welcome to NMIS. NMIS was originally written by Keith Sinclair, is maintained by Keith SINS - Sinclair InterNetworking Services and by Eric Greenwood and Jan van Keulen. The software has been released to the Public Domain under the GPL License. This means that it is free if you agree to the terms of the GPL License. If you would like the software under a different agreement please contact Keith Sinclair or Eric Greenwood. Development of this release, and future releases, is managed by the core NMIS Support Team located at NMIS. All Current Release Information and Help and Support Files for NMIS are now hosted here These files have been removed from this release and published on the NMIS support site to ensure that documentation is kept up to date and maintained for this and all future versions. Various non-core modules, optional administrative and contributed scripts, and other non-essential files that are not required to run NMIS, have also been removed from the distribution tarball and made available at NMIS for whoever may require them. Upgraders should review the CHANGE file in this distribution root directory. The 'HELP' url on each of the configuration tables, has been deprecated and administrators should look on the NMIS site for up to date relevant informattion, including FAQ and user forums.
